Hastings Racecourse staged four Friday Nights Under the Lights race cards in 2023 with each of them attracting enthusiastic crowds and noticeable increased wagering both on and off track.

With Hastings Racecourse nearing the completion of the 2023 Thoroughbred campaign, a major addition to the BC racing scene becomes official with the appointment of Dawn Lupul as Manager of Racing and Communications effective Aug. 28.

Amadeo Perez wasn't aware that when he won two races this past Sunday at Hastings Racecourse he officially became Canada's leading jockey.
