Owner/breeder Ramona Bass bought the mare to support her first-year stallion and grade 1 winner Annapolis, who stands at Claiborne Farm. Agent Steven Young has been helping Bass acquire mares to support the stallion.
The winner of each category, along with Canada's Horse of the Year for 2023, will be announced during the 49th Annual Sovereign Award ceremony, which will be held the evening of April 18 at Paramount Eventspace in Woodbridge, Ontario.
